Willowherb – the best natural remedy for the prostate

Adherents of traditional medicine claim that the best remedy for prostate is willowherb (Epilobium parviflorum), popularly known as silkworm, small or white milkweed, red nightshade, willow rose. It has exceptional antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, and some herbalists claim that it also has anticancer power. When it comes to inflammation, it is especially effective in treating the bladder, kidneys and bacteria in the urinary tract.

It is highly valued throughout Europe, and especially in the UK, Germany and France. It was also used by ancient peoples, but over the centuries it has fallen into oblivion. A few decades ago, the Austrian herbalist and author of well-known publications about medicinal herbs, Marija Treben, brought her out of oblivion, and since then she has been experiencing a renaissance and becoming as popular as ever. It was widely used in the treatment of soldiers in the territory of old Germany, Russia, Tibet and Mongolia. In the winter, the American Indians applied it to protect the skin and prepared tea from it against constipation and hard stools that could be drunk by babies as well.

The experiences of people who have a diseased prostate, as well as other organs of the urinary tract, show that this plant can bring them healing and return them to a healthy state. It has been shown to be especially effective in problems with urination, which are caused by enlargement and inflammation of the prostate. It also helps with other prostate problems, especially acute prostatitis caused by the bacterium Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus.

In patients who have had prostate surgery, willow tea removes the burning sensation and other problems that occur in the postoperative period.
